"What are you up to this weekend?"
"Oh, not much...just leaving for my trip around the world."

With our time on the continent dwindling quickly, everyone seems to be wondering if we are excited or nervous. The answer is simple: BOTH! I find myself at a loss for words when people ask me if "I'm ready" because, in all honesty, how can you really be ready for something like this? We've gotten our pills, recieved all of our visas, and have even managed to save up some money. But, we can't predict everything--and that is what I think I look forward to the most.

Since our last blog update we have pretty much tied up all the loose ends, bought travel insurance and an international sim card, and spent time with family and friends before we must bid farewell. The Hayden family even managed to celebrate all of the holidays in just one weekend! Kudos to Mrs. Hayden for that one.
